The fourth round of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America arrives for two races this weekend at Road America circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The venue for the category's excitement will be in full action until next Sunday (3rd), promising fierce battles among the season's top drivers. Among them is Brazilian Kiko Porto (Toyota Gazoo Racing / Banco Daycoval / MC Games / Team: Rafa Racing Team), who remains firmly at the top of the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge standings, a category that is part of the IMSA championship.

The Recife-based driver arrives for this round behind the wheel of the Lamborghini in the Pro category for the second time this season, sharing the cockpit with compatriot Werner Neugebauer on the Rafa Racing Team. The Brazilian duo returns to the track hungry for redemption following the controversial events of the previous round.

"I'm back in the Lamborghini as part of helping Werner in these races this season. That's how it was at Watkins Glen, but we didn't get the result we wanted. Now the race is at Road America. Let's see what we can do there. It'll be my first time in a GT car at Road America. I'm super excited to see the corners from a different perspective this time. I hope we can achieve good performance," declared Kiko Porto.

The previous round was marked by a controversial penalty that significantly hampered the Brazilian duo's performance. Kiko was forced to serve a drive-through penalty for an alleged jump start, but only after the race ended was it discovered that there had been an error by race control. The penalty was meant for car number 86, not car 68 of Porto and Neugebauer—a mistake that cost the Brazilians dearly.

"That ruined our race at Watkins Glen, but there's no going back, so we're heading into this round at Elkhart Lake very focused on the job, to have good races over the weekend," commented Kiko Porto, putting a period on the previous round's incident.

The fourth round schedule of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America begins this Thursday (31st) with free practice sessions at 1:05 PM and 3:40 PM local time. On Friday (1st), the Brazilian duo will participate in two qualifying sessions to determine the starting grids, scheduled for 5:05 PM and 5:25 PM.

The first challenge of the Road America round is scheduled for Saturday (2nd) at 11:55 AM, while the weekend's second race will take place on Sunday (3rd) at 9:25 AM, concluding another round of the 2025 season.

The races featuring the duo of Kiko Porto and Werner Neugebauer can be followed live through the official Lamborghini Super Trofeo YouTube channel, allowing Brazilian motorsport fans to closely follow the performance of their national representatives in the North American competition.
