The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge arrives at Elkhart Lake for another weekend of pure speed, in the seventh round of the 2025 season. The Road America circuit, in the American state of Wisconsin, will host the category's best drivers on one of the most challenging tracks on the calendar.

Among the competitors who will be hitting the throttle this weekend is Brazilian Celso Neto (AMED / Dipromed / LS Interbank / SODI USA by Velocity Racing / Precision Racing LA), who comes on the back of securing a podium finish at the Toronto round, together with his teammate Ryan Eversley. The achievement reignited the duo's hopes in the championship fight.

"It was a super chaotic race, very tough, but we're back on the podium. The whole team was extremely happy. Now it's Road America, another difficult race, but our confidence is back. We're going for it," declared Celso Neto, showing optimism for the approaching challenge.

Road America is a special track in Celso Neto's career, being the circuit where the driver has had the most success on American soil. Between 2022 and 2024, in the TC America category, Celso secured consecutive podium finishes on the Wisconsin layout, accumulating pole positions, victories and fastest laps during his race weekends.

For this return to the circuit, the Precision Racing LA team worked intensively on developing the straight-line speed of the Audi RS3. This factor, which was lacking at the Canadian round, will be crucial at Road America, known for its long straights that favor cars with good performance.

Celso and Ryan have the clear objective of scoring points that will help the team climb up the championship standings. The duo currently occupies fifth place with 1510 points, with three more rounds remaining after Road America for the championship to be decided.

Therefore, reaching a third podium finish this season would be very welcome for Celso Neto and Ryan Eversley, who carry the colors of the Precision Racing LA team. The achievement would represent a fundamental step in their march toward the top positions in the category.

"There are four races until the end of the championship and anything can happen. We have many points to fight for, but we need to be consistent until the end to stay in the battle," analyzed the Brazilian driver, aware of the importance of every point scored in this final stretch of the season.

This Friday (1st), free practice sessions are scheduled at Road America, with two preparation sessions for teams and drivers. At 5:55 PM, local time, qualifying takes place to determine the starting grid for the race, a crucial moment for each team's strategies.

The green flag for the seventh round of the Michelin Pilot Challenge, which is part of the IMSA calendar, is set for 2:05 PM on Saturday, in a 2-hour race. The endurance format, with teams switching drivers around the halfway point of the race, promises to thrill motorsport fans with fierce battles from start to finish.

To follow Celso Neto and all the details of the race at Road America, Brazilians can watch through IMSA's official YouTube channel, which will broadcast live all the moments of the competition.
