After an extremely skillful performance at Laguna Seca, where he executed 13 overtakes on the California circuit, Brazilian driver Celso Neto (AMED / Dipromed / LS Interbank / SODI USA by Velocity Racing / Team: Precision Racing LA) arrives at Mid-Ohio prepared for another round of the Michelin Pilot Challenge. Brazilian driver is back for the fourth round of the 2025 season, this time facing a 4-hour endurance race that promises to test the limits of both drivers and cars.

The IMSA - International Motor Sport Association competition has revealed Celso Neto as one of the major standouts of the current season. Behind the wheel of his Audi RS3 in the TCR class, the Brazilian driver has been demonstrating the consistency and pace that have placed him among the championship contenders. His adaptation to the car and racing style has been impressive.

Neto shares driving duties of the No. 7 car with American Ryan Eversley, forming a well-balanced duo at Precision Racing LA. The partnership has already yielded important results this season, with both drivers managing to reach the podium in the season opener at Daytona, where they secured a solid third-place finish that set the tone for the rest of the championship.

Currently, Celso Neto sits third in the overall drivers' standings, a position earned after the hard-fought races at Daytona, Sebring, and Laguna Seca. This ranking position demonstrates the Brazilian driver's consistency, as he has managed to score points regularly.

"The championship had a very promising start for our team, but some setbacks ended up taking away our chances for podiums and even victories in the other rounds," analyzes Celso Neto. "It's going to be an extremely demanding 4 hours, both for us drivers and for the car and the entire team. Mid-Ohio is a track that demands a lot from the whole package, but I'm confident we can do an excellent job and get back to fighting for the front positions."

The Michelin Pilot Challenge schedule at Mid-Ohio features free practice sessions this Friday (6th), starting at 3:25 PM, when teams will have their first opportunity to set up their cars for the specific characteristics of the Mid-Ohio circuit. The second free practice session will take place only on Saturday (7th) at 10:55 AM, offering more time for drivers to familiarize themselves with the track layout and for mechanics to fine-tune the final details on the cars.

Also on Saturday, the starting grid will be determined during the qualifying session, scheduled for 4:10 PM. This is a crucial moment for determining race strategies, as overtaking at Mid-Ohio tends to be more challenging due to the circuit's technical characteristics.

The main race is scheduled to start on Sunday (8th) at 12:00 PM, beginning a 4-hour marathon that will test not only speed, but also strategy, fuel management, tire management, and the drivers' physical endurance. Brazilian fans, supporters, and Celso Neto's family will be able to follow all the excitement of the race through IMSA's official YouTube channel, ensuring that supporters don't miss any moment of this important championship round.
