The second round of the Michelin Pilot Challenge promises an electrifying battle this Friday (14) at the iconic Sebring International Raceway in Florida. As part of the IMSA (International Motor Sport Association) calendar, the series brings together top-level drivers and high-performance race cars, delivering a thrilling spectacle for motorsport fans.

Representing Brazil, Celso Neto (AMED / Dipromed / LS Interbank / SODI USA by Velocity Racing / Team: Precision Racing LA) will be behind the wheel of the Audi RS3 fielded by Precision Racing LA, aiming for a strong result. Sharing driving duties with American teammate Ryan Eversley, Neto arrives in Sebring confident after a solid performance in the season opener at Daytona, where the duo secured a podium finish in third place.

During qualifying for the Sebring race, Celso Neto showcased strong pace, securing a spot on the second row of the grid. With a solid lap time of 2:13.040, the Brazilian placed the #7 Audi in fourth position, setting himself up for another great result this season. The Brazilian driver and his team progressed throughout the week, improving their performance in free practice sessions. Initially running outside the top 10, they gradually picked up pace and secured fourth place on the grid for Friday's race.

"It was a really good qualifying session! It started a bit tricky, but the team put in much effort. Our engineers, as well as my teammate Ryan and I, worked hard. We ended up with a strong result: P4 again in Qualy. The grid is highly competitive, with several factory-backed cars, but we’re ready to fight in the race. I appreciate all the support from the fans—thank you!" said Celso Neto.

Expectations for the race are high, especially given Sebring’s challenging layout, which is known for its bumpy surface and demanding braking zones. Race strategy and consistency over the two-hour competition will be crucial for a strong finish.

Before the green flag, fans will have a special opportunity to get up close with the drivers and teams during the traditional "FAN WALK." This walk allows access to the pit lane and direct interaction with the competitors, and it is one of the most anticipated moments for spectators at IMSA events.

The green flag for the second round of the Michelin Pilot Challenge is scheduled for 2:10 PM Eastern Time (3:10 PM Brasília time). The race will be broadcast live on IMSA’s official YouTube channel, bringing all the action to fans worldwide.

With a highly competitive field and a demanding track, Celso Neto is ready to push hard to pursue another podium finish this season. The goal is to keep accumulating crucial championship points and strengthen his position among the top contenders in the series.
