Kiko Porto is the fastest in GSX and secures two pole positions in the doubleheader at COTA.

After a victorious debut in the GSX category with a double win at Daytona, Kiko Porto (Toyota Gazoo Racing / Banco Daycoval / MC Games / Team: Rafa Racing) kept up the momentum and dominated the sessions at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA). The Brazilian driver topped both free practice sessions and set the fastest lap in qualifying with a time of 1m39.252s and a second quick lap of 1m39.559s, securing pole position for both races.

"I'm pleased with our performance in practice and qualifying. We managed to extract the maximum potential from the car, and the team gave me an extremely competitive Toyota GR Supra. Now, the focus is on converting these pole positions into strong race results," highlighted Kiko Porto.

Kiko's Rafa Racing Team also had reasons to celebrate. The Brazilian driver will share the front row of the GSX class with his teammate, American Ian Porter, who will start from second place. The team's dominance reinforces the strength of their package for the weekend.

As a member of the Toyota Gazoo Racing driver development program, Kiko Porto continues to showcase his talent and is determined to make another strong impression behind the wheel of the #8 car. The Brazilian driver remains committed to solidifying his name in international motorsports.

The VP Racing Sportscar Challenge is part of the IMSA (International Motor Sport Association) calendar, with both races scheduled for this Saturday (1st). The first race is set for 8:40 AM, while the second will occur at 8:00 PM.
