Kiko Porto is aiming for another good result, this time at the 2nd stage of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo at Laguna Seca

After an excellent debut at Sebring, Brazilian driver Kiko Porto is aiming for another good result at the second stage of the 2024 season of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America. The race will be held this weekend at Laguna Seca track in Monterey, California. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo, which is a category contested around the world, with stages in Europe and Asia, in the United States is part of the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA), the country's prototype championship.

In the previous stage, Kiko Porto managed to take pole position in the qualifying session and win his first race in this category. Alongside his teammate, Frenchman Nico Jamin, Kiko hopes to repeat the good performance, now at Laguna Seca. The duo drives the number 4 Lamborghini for Ansa Motorsports and are excited after the good start to the season.

"I was able to adapt very quickly to the car and the category. It was impressive and I was very happy with it. Nico helped me a lot in this learning process. On the track, the car and the category are spectacular. I am very excited for this second stage, and we hope to maintain this performance," explained Kiko Porto.

The schedule for this second stage of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo includes a free practice session on Friday (10) at 9:25 am. On Saturday (11), the qualifying session will be at 11:05 am, and a second free practice at 3:05 pm. At the end of the day, we will still have the first race of the weekend, scheduled for 5:40 pm. On Sunday, race two will be at 9:40 am (all times Brasília). The races will be broadcast live on the IMSA.tv channel on YouTube.
