Toronto (CAN), July 9, 2025

Another high-speed weekend approaches on the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge calendar, with the sixth round of the season scheduled to take place at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Toronto. Brazilian driver Celso Neto (AMED / Dipromed / LS Interbank / SODI USA by Velocity Racing / Precision Racing LA) arrives at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Toronto, ready to face another challenge in the 2025 season.

The Canadian venue will host drivers from different categories in pursuit of valuable championship points. The Brazilian, who has shown great development throughout the rounds, arrives in Canada with the determination to overcome the adversities that have marked the latest races of the championship.

Despite consistent efforts and the spectacular driving he has shown behind the wheel of his Audi RS3 in the TCR category, Celso Neto seeks to change the landscape of recent results in the category. The Brazilian driver has faced a sequence of setbacks that have prevented him from achieving more significant results.

The season has been marked by technical problems that have frustrated the team's ambitions. At Sebring, the team faced refueling difficulties, while at Laguna Seca, a penalty forced the Brazilian driver to start from the back of the grid. The problems continued at Mid-Ohio, where a transmission failure compromised the race.

The sequence of adversities extended to the last round at Watkins Glen, where once again refueling problems hampered the performance of the duo formed by the Brazilian and American Ryan Eversley. These setbacks have been frustrating for a team that demonstrates speed and competitiveness on track.

Celso and Ryan, who are behind the wheel of the number 7 car for Precision Racing LA, maintain confidence in a change of fortune. The Brazilian driver believes in the necessary turnaround to return to the podium, just as happened in the season opener at Daytona.

However, the challenge in Toronto will be even greater. "It's my first time on this track, here in Toronto. It's going to be a challenge, because a large part of the drivers and two teams are from here in Canada. These guys have a lot of experience on this circuit. The track is high-speed, but the expectation is to do well. Our car, the Audi, has shown well on high-speed tracks. So, we're going to work and do our best to fight for the victory."

The weekend's schedule will begin with free practice sessions in Toronto this Friday (11th), with two preparation sessions. Qualifying, which will determine the starting grid, is scheduled for 8:00 AM this Saturday (12th).

The Michelin Pilot Challenge, which is part of the IMSA - International Motor Sport Association calendar, will have the green flag for the 2-hour race scheduled for 1:25 PM, local time, also on Saturday (12th).

Brazilian fans, supporters, and family members of Celso Neto will be able to follow the races through IMSA's official YouTube channel.
